Yulissa Denise Martinez

Yulissa Denise Martinez, 24, lifetime resident of Hearne, entered the arms of the Lord on April 17, 2025.

Yulissa was born at St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan, Texas, on July 28, 2000. She is the daughter of Juan Carlos and Rosalinda Martinez.

She went to East Side Elementary School and Hearne High School. Towards the end, her teachers started coming to her home to make sure she graduated with her peers, which she did! She loved to listen to music with her mom and she enjoyed going on car rides. When her family came around to speak to her, she would smile, and that was a true sign she was happy. Growing up she loved going to the Pentecostal Christian Church in Hearne.

She is preceded in death by, her grandfather, Roberto Conde.

She is survived by her loving parents, and her sisters, Yesenia Flores and her husband Alex and Margarita Martinez, her nieces, Ilithyia Flores and Durrani Flores, her nephew Nehemiah Flores, her grandparents, Francisco Martinez G., Margarita Gallegos Mendoza and Andrea Conde. She has many aunts, uncles and cousins and will be missed by all those she leaves behind.
