Ronald Lee Sanders

Ronald Lee Sanders, 70, of Franklin, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Ronald was born on September 29, 1955, to John T. and Mozelle Sanders in Rockdale, Texas. After graduating from Franklin High School, Class of 1974, he married the love of his life Sharon Sanders on June 21, 1975. Ronald loved God, his family and working with his hands. He always had a kind word, mischievous grin and never met a stranger. His life was one well lived and well loved.

Ronald is survived by his four children Sarah Watson, Michael (Trish) Sanders, Daniel (Melissa) Sanders, Sheila (Sean) Parker, Thirteen grandchildren Caitlin Watson, Micaleigh Sanders, Brittan Sanders, Seth Sanders, Anthony (Courtney) Iverson-Olguin, Justin (Amanda) Merrill, Matthew Bell, KayLynn Sanders, Kayden Santamaria, Danielle Parker, Grady Parker, Hadley Parker and several great-grandchildren.

Ronald is also survived by his sister Glenda Phipps, brother Larry Sanders and wife, Cindy Sanders, brother-in-law James Cargill and wife, Colleen Cargill and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents John and Mozelle Sanders, his parents in law Obia and Oleta Cargill and grandson Thomas Watson.

A memorial service in honor of Ronald’s life to be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Robertson County Cowboy Church, Franklin, Texas. The family will receive friends starting at 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Church.
