Grady H. Russell

Grady H. Russell, Jr., 82, went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of December 1, 2025. Grady was born on March 10, 1943, in Hearne, Texas, to Grady Russell, Sr. and Bonnie Faye Russell. He was a lifelong resident of Hearne.

He was a humble God-loving, amazing, generous, family-loving man—a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He would do anything for anyone, no matter when or what was asked of him.

He rarely missed any event his babies were taking part in. No matter which baby (child, grandchild, or great-grandchild) was involved, he smiled and gleamed with pride from the stands.

In addition to his family, he loved his First Baptist Church family and so enjoyed taking care of all things at his church, as well as the Robertson County Fair Association.

He is survived by his wife of over 39 years, June Russell; his daughters, Cheryl Mushinski (Donald), Traci Conde (Isaiah), and Victoria Perez (Jesse); his grandchildren, Jessica Weatherford (Sean), McKinzie Gongora (David), Kyla Emery, and Jadin Emery; his great-grandchildren, Channing and SeanGrady Weatherford, Eliana and Wrenley Gongora, and Baela Mejia; his sisters, Judy Schaefer (Les) and Linda Woodward; his sister-in-law, Tina Gustavus (Steve); and his brothers-in-law, Ivan Linebaugh (Becky) and Sterling Linebaugh; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation and Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church in Hearne on Saturday, December 13, 2025. The Visitation will be at 10:00 AM and the Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM.
