Gina Alene Jones

Gina Alene Jones, 40, of Bryan, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026. She was born on July 4, 1986, in Bryan, Texas. Her surviving parents are Roy Gordon Jones, North Zulch, Texas, and Jennifer Jo Gooden, College Station, Texas.

Gina was a passionate, loving, strong woman who lived life with her whole heart. She worked hard to build a life she was proud of, pursued her dreams with determination, and believed deeply in the power of love and helping others. Above all, Gina was a devoted mother who was incredibly proud of her son and deeply excited about the future she envisioned for him and for herself.

Gina is survived by her son, Kaleb Anthony Hicks. Her siblings are Chris Richardson and wife Lacey, Adam Richardson and wife Jenna, Ashley Gray and husband Darvin, Sonja Jones, Jerry Jones, Amber Jones, and Rachel Jones. She also has several aunts and uncles, Gina Lujan and husband Alfonso, Vivian Bernardi and husband Joe, Elizabeth Christie and husband Kevin, and Virgil Richardson, a grandmother, Zelda Richardson, and numerous great aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She probably would also like to include her family members that she chose, as there were lots of those as well.

Gina is preceded in death by her grandparents, Virgil Clinton Richardson, Nelva Jean Lunsford, George and Josefina Uribe, and three aunts, Mary Margaret Bacot, Brenda Jean Lunsford, and Allison Michelle Jones.

A celebration of life service in honor of Gina is to be held on Saturday, September 26, from 11:00am to 3:00pm, at the Ice House on Main in Bryan, Texas.
