Donna Joyce Ditto

Donna Joyce Ditto (Huddleston) age 69 of Hearne Tx passed peacefully on January 16, 2026.

Born and raised in Houston until high school when she moved to Milano. She was a straight A student and graduated as Valedictorian of her class. She began an elementary education degree at Blinn college in Brenham Tx before leaving to start her family and a career change.

She dedicated years of her life to a career for the United States Postal Service as Post Master in Gause from 1985-1992 and Postal worker in Bryan from 1992-2002.

Donna was an avid antiquer who loved scouring garage sales for unique pieces to add to her collections. She had a zest for life expressing it by trying new foods when dining out or cooking at home, making a variety of crafts, and reading all genres of books. Although her greatest joy was in her children Marisa and Daniel whom she had from a 13 year marriage to Truman Edward “Butch” Ditto Jr. She was so proud of their careers and families as well as her 4 grandchildren’s accomplishments.

She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Huddleston and granddaughter Jozie Wilson.

Surviving family mother Angie Menzel, sister Cindy (Eddie) Bell, brother Carl (Liz) Huddleston, daughter Marisa (Matt) Wilson, son Daniel (Melanie) Ditto, grandchildren Jaxon Ditto, Cassidy Wilson, Cooper Ditto. As well as many nieces and nephews on both sides of her family and their children. She spent her final years with partner Domingo Vega as part of his children and grandchildren lives.
