Charles "Chuck" T. Riddell

On October 12, 2025, Charles Terry Riddell, at age 62, was called home to live with his Lord and Savior. Chuck was born to George Terry and Elsie Marie Robbins Riddell on November 14, 1962, the day after his mom's 23rd birthday. He graduated from Hondo High School in May 1981. He had many close friends in school that stayed close friends to this day. He participated in football, basketball and track, but his art was what he loved to do.

After high school he attended TSTI in Waco, Texas to persue an art degree. There he met and fell in love with Deborah Leon in an art class they shared. They spent the rest of their days building a life together. Together they shared 4 children, and these children were always his pride and joy.

Chuck worked 34 years for Bryan Audio/Video as an installer of electronic sound and home theater systems where he worked for some very famous clients. He retired last December to enjoy more fishing and beach time.

Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Riddell, and his mother-in-law, Myrtle Hall, as well as some aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; his children Colten Freeman, Kendra (Brandon) Williams, Ryan (Aaron) Mayo and Aryn Riddell; his grandchildren Ariana Leon, Michael, Tyler, Taylor and Macie Mayo, Aydan, Rory and MicKayla Riddell, Abby Marquez and Texas Redwine and great grandchildren Khalil and Kannon Leon; his father, George Riddell, sisters Dee Ann (Kurt) Willman and Shauna Gail (Daniel) Weynand and brother Todd (Cynthia) Riddell and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 S. Market Street, Hearne, Texas 77859 from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The Visitation will continue on Thursday, October 23, from 1pm until 1:30pm. The funeral service will start promptly at on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
