Barbara was born in Hearne, Texas on May 12, 1938 and graduated from Hearne High School before marrying Reynolds McClure.
Barbara retired from BISD Nutritional Services after 25 years and Reynolds retired from TX Dot after 30 years. Barbara and her family attended Calvary Baptist Church in Bryan, Texas.
In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved cooking for her family and fishing. She also enjoyed word searches, playing dominos, puzzles, gardening (she had an amazing “green thumb”) and most importantly, spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Ellis McClure and her parents Charles and Mary Stanitzky.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Reynolds; her daughter Carla McClure of Bryan and brother Carl and his wife Dorothy “Dot” of West Monroe, LA, Nephew Tony Stanitzky of Tyler, Texas, various nieces, nephews, and cousins on both sides of her family.
